On this rainy May evening we were joined by the renowned Oud virtuoso Zafer Tawil who played a vibrant and soulful selection of Palestinian pieces accompanied by an impeccable ensemble of musicians from across the Arab world. Preceding the music, we shared a meal of mouthwatering Makloubeh prepared and presented by the talented Jumana Bishara from the iconic Bay Ridge Palestinian restaurant, Tanoreen.
